[Hiring] Short-Form Video Editor @Casita

Role Description

We’re looking for multiple freelance video editors to help us turn our existing library of content into short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok.

• Editing-first role, not videography-first.
• Primarily working with footage that has already been shot.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.

What you'll do:

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok.
• Work with our existing library of original footage.
• Turn raw footage into Casita-style social videos.
• Follow our established editing style and content system.
• Work primarily in CapCut or a similar editing platform.

Qualifications

• Experience editing short-form social content.
• Examples of videos you've personally edited available on social media.
• Understanding of pacing, hooks, text, music, and storytelling that work on Instagram and TikTok.
• Comfortable using CapCut or similar editing software.
• Able to work independently and remotely.
• Open to learning and following our editing system.

Requirements

• We produce all of our content ourselves and have built a large library of original footage.
• Looking to expand our editing team and teach more editors how to create content using our system.
• No need to already know our exact editing style; we'll teach you.

Benefits

• Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
• Flexible remote role with room to grow to full-time.
