Role Description

As a Senior UX Researcher, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to uncover what our users need, how they think, and what they care about. Using a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods, you’ll dive deep into the experiences of homeowners and users of the Angi platform, discovering valuable insights that will shape the future of our product.
- Explore key pain points and unmet needs to uncover opportunities to improve the Angi experience.
- Define how we evaluate and measure our current user experiences, identifying areas to strengthen our connection with customers.
- Co-lead research projects utilizing a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Conduct research that spans qualitative feedback, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
- Advocate for users by synthesizing research findings into actionable insights.
- Partner with teams across product, engineering, marketing, and design to align research with organizational goals.
- Apply research best practices to ensure high-quality, rigorous work.
- Work with UX Metrics to track product changes over time and measure the impact of product releases on user behavior.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX research experience, ideally in a two-sided marketplace or B2C environment.
- Skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Data-savvy and experienced in analyzing large datasets and conducting statistical analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Passionate about understanding user needs and aligning research with business goals.
Requirements
- Experience in co-creating and co-leading research initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional collaboration with product, design, engineering, and business teams.
- Comfortable working independently or within a team, managing multiple projects.
- Ability to present complex findings clearly and influence stakeholders.
- Initiative to adapt quickly to changing priorities and solve problems creatively.
