[Hiring] Senior Product Designer @Atlassian

Role Description

As a member of the Admin Experience team, you will be responsible for designing high-stakes foundations for Atlassian customers. Your role will involve:

• Designing the foundation every Atlassian customer runs on, ensuring clarity, safety, and auditability.
• Owning whole admin journeys, defining complete journeys end to end, including edge cases and bulk actions.
• Shaping AI-powered administration to provide actionable insights and governance.
• Creating a cohesive admin experience by developing patterns and components for the Admin UI Kit.
• Turning trust into a design outcome and championing admins through collaboration with Engineering and Data.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Designing end-to-end admin experiences for complex workflows.
• Creating AI-native experiences that earn enterprise trust.
• Building functional, AI-enabled prototypes to explore options and test ideas.
• Contributing patterns to the Admin UI Kit and the Atlassian Design System.
• Partnering with PM and Engineering to define goals and own outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience with complex B2B, SaaS, or enterprise software.
• Strong craft in visual and interaction design.
• Excellent prototyping skills that demonstrate behavior and options.
• Experience owning end-to-end UX and solving complex problems.
• Clear, evidence-based communication and ability to influence cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Deep enterprise admin domain knowledge, including SSO/SCIM, licensing, and org hierarchies.
• Proven experience designing AI-powered features and workflows.
• Comfort building functional prototypes in code.
• A track record designing for large, regulated enterprises.
