This opportunity is a part of Blink's Embedded practice which supports long-term opportunities with some of Blinkβs largest client partners.

Location: Must be located near Bellevue, WA or Denver, CO in case of potential conversion.
Key Responsibilities:

Design Execution & Craft
-
Own end-to-end design for key product flows, from discovery through delivery, with minimal oversight.

Translate complex, ambiguous requirements into intuitive, user-centered experiences.

Create high-quality deliverables (flows, wireframes, prototypes, specs) ready for implementation.

Apply strong visual and interaction design skills to deliver polished, scalable solutions.

Ensure alignment with design systems, accessibility standards, and established frameworks.

Maintain a high bar for craft, proactively improving quality and consistency across your work.

Product Thinking & Strategy
-
Cross-functional partnership to define problems, shape solutions, and prioritize work.

Contribute to UX strategy and roadmap alignment within your product area.
-
Use data and research to inform decisions and validate solutions.
-
Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
-
Identify risks and opportunities, proactively mitigating or escalating as needed.

Bring forward informed recommendations to influence product direction.

Collaboration & Communication
-
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to deliver cohesive experiences.

Clearly communicate design decisions, tradeoffs, and rationale clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Facilitate alignment through workflows, prototypes, and user stories.

Partner with Engineering early to understand constraints and ensure quality implementation.

Work with Product and Project Management to plan and deliver successful outcomes.

Lead or contribute to critiques, reviews, and product demos.

Team Contribution & Influence

Provide actionable feedback to peers to elevate team quality and consistency.

Mentor and support junior designers.

Contribute to team culture and help evolve practices, workflows, and standards.

Advocate for user-centered design across your team and partners.

Present work, insights, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or related field.

Strong visual and interaction design skills with high attention to detail.

Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and library usage.

Experience working within and contributing to established design systems.

Experience designing enterprise or transactional systems (e.g., complex workflows, internal tools).

Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and shipped outcomes.

Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver solutions.

Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, user-centered experiences.
Requirements
-
$120,000 - $144,000 a year DOE.
