Role Description

We're building the content engine behind two fast-growing founder-focused brands and need a creative force who can turn ideas into visuals that stop the scroll. You'll own the visual identity of two personal brands across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Substack — same clients, multiple platforms, one consistent voice.

This is not a template-clicking role. We're looking for original thinking, creative courage, and a designer who understands that what works on LinkedIn doesn't always work on Instagram or Substack, and knows how to adapt without losing the brand.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design single-image posts (illustrated visuals, infographics, cheat sheets) across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Substack for the same clients
• Adapt each design to fit the format, tone, and audience of each platform without losing brand consistency
• Study the brand aesthetic and evolve it, not just copy it
• Research trending content formats across all three platforms and proactively pitch visual ideas
• Keep a locked visual identity that translates consistently across platforms
• Use AI tools (especially Claude) and Canva to maximize output without sacrificing craft
• Deliver clean, ready-to-post files on time, every time
• Track what's performing and bring data-backed creative decisions to the table

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of how to grow a social media account through visual content, come prepared to show examples and explain your thinking
• Ability to think outside the box; cookie-cutter designs don't get hired here
• Ability to take a raw idea and turn it into a fully-formed visual concept, independently
• A portfolio with infographics, illustrated posts, or cheat sheet-style designs showing clear creative judgment and performance
• Understanding of what makes content stop the scroll not just look pretty, but convert attention into engagement
• Comfort pitching your own creative ideas, not just waiting for a brief
• Already using AI tools to work faster without lowering your quality bar
