[Hiring] Senior Designer @Nen Creative

Role Description

We're looking for a Senior Designer to create exceptional brand and digital work for some of the most ambitious companies in technology. This is a senior, hands-on design role for someone with exceptional craft, strong conceptual thinking, and the ability to take meaningful ownership of projects from early exploration through final delivery.

• Work across brand identities, websites, campaigns, and launch moments.
• Develop ideas, build visual systems, and push the work beyond the obvious.
• Collaborate closely with creative leadership, project managers, strategists, and other designers.
• Own significant portions of the creative process.
• Work directly with clients, presenting concepts, explaining creative decisions, and responding to feedback.
• Aim to do career-defining work, move quickly, push creative boundaries, and help raise the standard of what Nen puts into the world.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience as a designer, ideally within a strong branding, design, or creative agency environment.
• Exceptional design craft and taste.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, composition, visual systems, identity work, and digital design.
• Strong conceptual thinking.
• High ownership and reliability.
• Strong with clients and presentations.
• Able to move fluidly between thinking and making.
• Driven to raise the bar.

• You can develop ideas, not just execute layouts, and know how to turn a strong concept into a cohesive visual system.
• You do whatever it takes to get important work over the line, stay calm under pressure, and don't need someone chasing you to make things happen.
• You're comfortable presenting your work, explaining your thinking, receiving feedback, and navigating creative conversations professionally.
• You can zoom out to understand the bigger creative idea and zoom all the way into the details required to make the final work exceptional.
• You're ambitious about your craft, curious about what's happening in design and culture, and constantly looking for ways to make the work more distinctive.
