[Hiring] Interior Designer / Kitchen & Bedroom Draughtsman @Latreuo Kitchens

Role Description

Are you a designer who understands that a great design needs to work in the real world? Latreuo Kitchens is looking for a talented Interior Designer / Kitchen & Bedroom Draughtsman to join our team in Brackenfell. This is not a role for someone who only produces beautiful renders. We are looking for someone who can take a project from client brief and concept through to detailed technical drawings and production — someone who understands cabinetry, materials, hardware, dimensions and what it takes to get a design successfully manufactured and installed. If you enjoy combining creative design with technical precision, this could be the opportunity for you.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Designing and detailing customised kitchens, built-in cupboards, bedrooms, walk-in cupboards and dressing rooms, vanities, and other bespoke cabinetry and interior solutions.
• Working across the full design process — from understanding the client's requirements and developing concepts, through to 3D visualisation, technical drafting, production handover, and installation support.
• Meeting with clients to understand their requirements, lifestyle, taste, and budget.
• Developing creative and functional kitchen and bedroom concepts.
• Producing professional 2D technical drawings, elevations, sections, and detailed cabinetry drawings.
• Creating accurate 3D designs and presentations.
• Taking or working from accurate site measurements.
• Specifying materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
• Ensuring designs are practical, cost-conscious, and suitable for manufacture.
• Preparing accurate information for production.
• Liaising with the factory and installation teams to resolve technical queries.
• Reviewing designs before production to identify potential issues.
• Assisting with design-related queries during installation.
• Managing design revisions and client approvals.
• Working on both individual residential projects and, where required, larger development projects.
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' relevant experience in kitchen design, cabinetry, interior design, joinery, or technical drafting.
• Proven experience designing kitchens and/or built-in cupboards.
• Strong technical drawing skills.
• A good understanding of cabinetry construction and joinery.
• Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
• Experience working from site measurements.
• A strong understanding of materials, finishes, and kitchen hardware.
• The ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Good knowledge of kitchen ergonomics and functionality.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A qualification in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Draughting, Kitchen Design, or a related field will be advantageous.
