Role Description

Design Brief: Speed Project Merch (F1-Inspired Workwear)

Project Overview

We are developing a premium, motorsport-inspired workwear range for a high-performance speed trial project. The goal is to create a bold, fast, and technical visual identity in the style of Formula 1.

Objective

• Design a cohesive racing-style merch collection that:
• Feels elite, high-speed, and technical
• Uses custom race-inspired iconography
• Has a strong, unified visual identity across items
• Works in both functional and brand-forward environments

Brand / Visual Guidelines

• Use an existing “R” emblem (full or abstracted elements)
• Include a clean, strong wordmark (if needed)
• Core colour: vibrant green
• Secondary: white (primary base for certain items)

Creative Direction

• Think: Formula 1 / motorsport aesthetics
• Speed, motion, aerodynamics, precision
• Technical markings, race numbering, sponsor-style layouts
• Clean, sharp, and performance-driven design

Important:

• ❌ No reference to any external customer or project
• ❌ No imitation of existing racing teams
• ✅ Develop original race iconography and visual language

Key Design Elements to Explore

• Speed lines / motion graphics
• Abstract track layouts or telemetry visuals
• Custom race insignia / badges
• Numbering systems and graphic placements
• Repeatable patterns for apparel

• Premium, not promotional
• Functional and wearable
• Consistent across all items
• Suitable for both on-site use and visibility

Output Expectations

• 2–3 creative concept directions
• Apparel mockups
• Scalable graphic assets (icons, patterns, badges)
