Role Description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for detail-oriented design and formatting professionals with strong visual judgment, formatting precision, and experience improving documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks based on structured style guidance. This role supports an exciting collaboration with a leading frontier AI research laboratory focused on improving visual quality, formatting consistency, and style-guided editing workflows across a range of professional file types.

Selected professionals will improve provided documents, spreadsheets, or slide decks based on a pre-set style guide and then document all of the changes they made. This opportunity is especially well-suited to professionals with strong design instincts, careful attention to detail, and the ability to apply formatting and visual standards consistently across different types of business materials.

Qualifications

• Strong design judgment with an eye for layout, formatting, and presentation quality
• Experience improving documents, spreadsheets, or slide decks based on style or branding guidance
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency across visual editing tasks
• The ability to apply structured style rules across different file types
• Comfort working independently in an asynchronous remote environment

Requirements

• Experience with professional business documents, spreadsheet formatting, or presentation design
• Familiarity with style-guide-based editing and visual quality improvement workflows
• Strong written communication for documenting changes clearly and accurately
• Ability to move between design refinement and structured documentation work with precision

Contract Details

• Independent contractor role
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling
• Compensation is paid per task rather than hourly
• $200 per document task
• $300 per spreadsheet task
• $400 per slide deck or multi-file type task
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance
• Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
• Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
