We are seeking a talented and experienced designer to immediately jump into a critical freelance role, supporting a vibrant creative team. This is an exciting opportunity to be the dedicated force behind essential email marketing initiatives, crafting high-converting newsletters and campaign templates that will directly engage and inform a broad audience. Your expertise will be instrumental in elevating digital communications and ensuring a consistent, compelling brand experience across multiple platforms.

• Design and build custom, responsive email newsletters and campaigns directly within Constant Contact, ensuring optimal performance and engagement.
• Develop reusable, modular email and marketing templates within Constant Contact and Marq, empowering the team with easily maintainable and deployable assets.
• Create engaging digital assets for various social media platforms and other digital touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal.
• Manage design deliverables from initial concept through to final handoff, proactively communicating timelines, revisions, and project status updates.
• Collaborate closely with in-house Art Directors and other team members, contributing to a cohesive and impactful creative vision.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience designing and setting up custom templates natively within Constant Contact.
• A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional digital and layout design skills, including typography, visual hierarchy, mobile-first design principles, and email marketing best practices.
• Proven proficiency with Marq (formerly Lucidpress), specifically in building locked-down, user-friendly templates.
• Excellent project management and self-direction skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deliverables effectively.

Requirements

• Familiarity with email-safe HTML/CSS coding skills to troubleshoot rendering issues or customize layouts beyond standard drag-and-drop builders.
