Role Description
Under the supervision of the Programme Officer, the purpose of this consultancy is to develop and produce strategic communication, design, and visual branding assets for the official communication channels of the One Million Opportunities (1MiO) initiative, ensuring consistency with its branding, messaging, and overall communication strategy. The consultancy also aims to support the creation of graphic and visual materials for campaigns, events, and key initiatives, enhancing audience engagement and strengthening the initiative’s visibility, as well as contributing to the engagement of private sector partners through compelling content, storytelling, and tailored communication strategies.

Qualifications
-
Degree in Design, Arts or related fields.
-
A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience at national or international levels in Design.
-
Experience in UN system agency or organization is an asset.
-
Fluency in Portuguese and basic English is required. Knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
-
Knowledge on children’s rights issues, including the Convention of Rights of the Child and the Statute of the Child and the Adolescent.

Experience in Design.
-
Teamwork skills and capacity to work with tight deadlines.
-
Knowledge in the use of digital media tools and social media.
Requirements
-
Travel to São Paulo and/or Brasília, as needed to support in-person meetings and key activities.
-
Consultants are responsible for arranging their own travel, including travel insurance.
-
All travel fees must be included in the financial proposal.

Consultants are not considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures.

Conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants.
