Role Description

Our client is a US-based company, a recognized leader in the healthcare domain offering SaaS-based solutions. The product portfolio addresses all the digital needs around running clinical trials. The client helps generate the evidence and insights to help pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and diagnostics companies, and academic researchers accelerate value, minimize risk, and optimize outcomes. More than one million registered users across 1,400 customers and partners access the world's most-used platform for clinical development, commercial, and real-world data.

• 100% remote work
• Since this is a B2B contract, the compensation level we are offering compensates for the fact that you are responsible for your own benefits.
• We do not include paid days off, national holidays, medical insurance, and other such things.
• We do encourage our team to take holidays and time off as desired and have a flexible policy regarding this which allows for up to 40 unpaid days off per year.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience, including 4+ years in a Design Manager or equivalent senior design leadership role in a B2B product or services company (agency, consultancy, or similar).
• Proven success delivering design outcomes within complex, cross-functional B2B environments.
• Strong product mindset and ability to drive results across ambiguous, fast-moving engagements.
• Experience working with enterprise clients and engaging directly with senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on approach: able to set direction, give clear feedback, and step into Figma when needed.
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and articulating the thinking and tradeoffs behind them.
• Experience facilitating workshops and strategy sessions that bring clarity to ambiguous problems.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineers and PMs, including setting shared processes and resolving handoff issues.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to represent design thinking to internal stakeholders and global clients.
• Comfortable giving direct, constructive feedback that elevates both people and the work.
• High standards for craft, systems thinking, and operational excellence.
• Experience working closely with Design Leads, with a focus on mentorship, input, and craft development.
• Empathetic, trust-building presence within distributed teams, with the ability to foster psychological safety.
• Proven ability to contribute to and sustain a strong design culture, including systems, rituals, or tools that support team health and growth.
• Adaptable and resilient in high-growth environments, with a track record of resourceful leadership through change, ambiguity, and scale.
