Position: Architect β Design Coordination (Vulcan)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $45β$60/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities

Develop evaluation tasks using real design and coordination work in the construction and property field.

Author tasks and correct answers, ensuring accuracy and relevance in architectural RFI response review and architectural set QC check.

Conduct technical peer reviews and cross-sheet coordination reviews to enhance constructability and design change approval.

Collaborate on as-built drawing production and pre-bid drawing scope review to maintain document control.

Review shop drawings for interiors, millwork, and building envelope details to ensure quality and compliance.

Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications

Must-Have: Licensed architect or 8+ years as a project architect or job captain producing permit sets.

3+ years in the seat, US-based, working in US model code jurisdictions.

Proficiency in marking up drawing sets and details using Bluebeam Revu or equivalent.

Preferred: Experience running set QC or back-check on other people's drawings.

Mentored job captains and maintained office standards or a detail library.

Worked both sides of the RFI process as designer and reviewer.

Hourly contractor, paid hourly at $45 to $60 depending on experience.
