Role Description
As a Staff Data Scientist at ezCater, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying data science and ML models to revolutionize our business and transform customer's experience of Food For Work.
- Drive development, prototyping, and rapid iteration of models that feed data-driven intelligence in our products.
- Ensure data science modeling efforts align with company priorities and demonstrate tangible, measurable business value.
- Facilitate the transition of model development to MLEs and establish success criteria for models in production.
- Lead innovation of advanced data science methods and models at ezCater.
- Partner with the ML team to integrate customer-centric data science models and algorithms into the customer experience.
- Develop predictive models to forecast user behavior, identify trends, and anticipate customer needs.
- Apply and optimize models using cutting-edge techniques in data science and optimization.
- Explore new data sources, techniques, and technologies to enhance data science capabilities.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers, product managers, and the business to deliver data-science and machine-learning powered solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and relevant industry trends.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Background in B2B/B2C marketplace or e-commerce environments.
- Deep expertise in Python and SQL required.
- Proven track record of leading by example through collaboration, guidance, and mentoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Experience performing statistical modeling and quantitative and technical analysis.
- Ability to leverage Python and SQL for data science and machine learning applications.
