Role Description
This role involves conducting data analysis and developing reporting tools to identify business trends and report performance across the product portfolio.
- Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and standardization.
- Assess the effectiveness of the sales and clinical teams and support cross-functional partners (i.e. Marketing, Finance).
- Review department metrics with the leadership team to ensure consistent performance and achievement of business goals for the Commercial Organization.
- Identify and track data necessary to develop and support business forecasting and product utilization models.
- Design, produce, and maintain various reporting systems and capabilities.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project goals, KPIs, and deliverables.
- Simultaneously manage multiple project/work assignments and analytical duties.
- Use statistical tools and data analysis to monitor performance and support decision-making.
- Learn and develop proficiency with Salesforce and/or other programs used by the Commercial Team.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models based on sales data and other internal and external data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4+ years of Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and/or Project Management experience OR an advanced degree with 2+ years of Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and/or Project Management experience.
Requirements
- 4+ years in a Business Analytics role, preferably Sales Operations or Sales Finance.
- 2+ years working knowledge in analytics.
- SQL experience.
- Tableau and PowerBI experience.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or higher).
- Data Modeling and Forecasting experience.
- Advanced technical skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.).
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Prior Medical Device or Pharma industry experience.
- Experience presenting data to leadership/executive level.
- Excellent attention to detail.
