Role Description
The Data Scientist will develop and implement ML and Gen AI algorithms, design scalable solutions, and analyze large-scale location data.
- Assess data quality
- Document findings
- Collaborate with engineering for productionization
- Communicate results
- Problem-solving skills and project ownership required
Qualifications
- PhD in a quantitative field (or Master’s with 5+ years of experience in data science)
- Strong background in machine learning, Gen AI, deep learning, probabilistic graphical models, active learning, anomaly detection, and image classification
- Proficiency in Scala, Spark, Python, A/B testing, Bayesian statistics, graphical data structures, and functional programming
- Extensive experience in mathematics and statistics
- Proven ability to own and drive multiple large projects/data products
- Skilled in conducting research from initial hypothesis to production-ready proof of concept
- Ability to document findings and processes for both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Expertise in ML, Gen AI, Deep Learning, and advanced statistics
- Experience in Scala, Spark, Python, and Bayesian methods
