[Hiring] Senior Business Analyst @KSN Technologies.

Role Description

The Worker will perform advanced (senior-level) business analysis work related to implementing complex, emerging technology hardware and software projects to support the Mainframe Reports and Extract effort at the Client.

• Duties involve use of multiple methods in gathering, developing, and documenting requirements.
• Review, assessment, and development of business processes.
• Creation and validation of user acceptance testing.
• Research and special project support provided to users.
• Work under limited to minimal direction, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
• Responsible for analysis and documentation in the implementation of multiple interrelated projects related to reports.
• Focus of the work is intended to be data-related, including:
  • Data analysis
  • Root cause analysis of data errors
  • Data flow documentation
  • Report developments
  • Data posting on the DIR Open Data Portal or on RRC website
• Requires knowledge and background in Power BI, Snowflake, and data publishing.
• Ensures that deliverables and materials are produced and maintained in accordance with established processes and procedures, are of consistent quality, and use accepted business analysis methodologies.
• May assign and/or supervise the work of others.

Qualifications

• 8 years of strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, written/verbal/presentation communication skills in English.
• 8 years of experience in gathering requirements and creating reports.
• 8 years of facilitating creation and analysis of business requirements and working with business area personnel to design technical solutions.
• 5 years of participating in and providing guidance to business in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities.
• 2 years of experience with Snowflake and Power BI.
• 2 years of preferred experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
