Role Description

This assignment aims to support the development of UNICEF’s global learning assessment data portal by integrating data from multiple regional and international assessments into a single platform. The consultant will contribute to data management, harmonization and visualization efforts, helping improve access to comparable foundational learning data in reading and numeracy to strengthen evidence generation, monitoring and education decision-making.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Processing, Data Science, Public Policy

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working with data structures, analysis, building pipelines
• Fluency in English and French
• Experience with SDMX, Github, R and Python
• Experience working with household survey data or large-scale national/international assessment datasets (e.g., MICS, DHS)

Desirables

• Prior experience working with UNICEF or other UNICEF/UN data collection systems
