[Hiring] Epic Clinical Senior Reporting Business Analyst @Northeast Georgia Health System

Role Description

The Reporting Business Analyst Sr. is a senior member of the Data and Analytics Team and is responsible for assessing customer analytic needs and providing guidance on the best possible course of action to address them. Key responsibilities include:

• Familiarity with end-users workflows and complete catalog of NGHS' Analytics tools.
• Primary responsibilities for real-time or near real-time applications reports generated from the Epic production database using Reporting Workbench.
• Development of custom metrics & RW SQL reports and operational dashboards using Radar.
• Extensive interaction with operational team members and leadership.
• Analysis of business data and analytics requirements, transforming those requirements into analytics solutions.
• Partnership with the NGHS Technical Training team to develop and implement training and documentation solutions.
• Establishment and enforcement of best practices, mentoring junior analyst team members.
• Collaboration with the manager in prioritizing the intake of requests, enhancements, and projects.
• Keeping up with Epic updates and planning for retiring legacy assets.
• Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team efforts and willingness to challenge established practices.

Qualifications

• Epic Cogito fundamentals, Cogito Tools Administration, Clarity Data Model, Caboodle Data Model, and one of the two (clinical/access data model) certifications/accreditation required (to be obtained within 12 months of hire).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or ten (10) years progressively responsible experience in the field.
• A minimum of six (6) years experience with various BI and other analytic reporting software applications.
• Excellent SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries.
• Strong knowledge and experience in data warehouse concepts and enterprise data management practices.
