[Hiring] Data & Reporting Specialist @Etio Global

YDay - Etio Global is hiring a remote Data & Reporting Specialist. πŸ’Έ Salary: Β£40,000 - Β£45,000 per year πŸ“Location: UK

Role Description

Etio is looking for a Data and Systems Analyst to join the Attendance Mentor Programme (AMP), a high-profile programme supporting improvements in school attendance across England. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, technology and operations. You'll become the programme's go-to expert for data reporting, Power BI, SQL and Monday.com, helping colleagues make informed decisions and ensuring the systems that underpin delivery operate effectively.

The role combines two key areas of responsibility:

  • Data analysis, reporting and insight using SQL and Power BI.
  • Monday.com administration and first-line systems support.

You'll spend approximately 50% of your time on reporting and analysis and 50% supporting and enhancing programme systems, although this balance may vary as the programme evolves. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working directly with colleagues and using data to improve programme performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Write and run SQL queries to extract, analyse and validate programme data.
    • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support the development of management information and reporting processes.
    • Work with colleagues to define reporting requirements and identify meaningful insights.
    • Help improve data quality, reporting consistency and understanding across the programme.
    • Support data exploration and analysis for new programme initiatives.
  • Monday.com Administration
    • Act as the first point of contact for Monday.com support across the programme.
    • Maintain boards, automations, workflows and templates.
    • Manage user permissions and access controls.
    • Support and improve processes relating to consent, parental engagement and quality assurance.
    • Produce simple guidance materials and provide user training where required.
    • Ensure Monday.com remains aligned to programme needs and operational processes.
  • Systems and Programme Support
    • Support the administration of programme surveys and learning management systems (LMS).
    • Troubleshoot day-to-day system issues and escalate technical matters appropriately.
    • Maintain system documentation, reporting definitions and user guides.
    • Support improvements to programme processes and change management activities.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
  • Experience building Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Hands-on administration experience using Monday.com.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting non-technical users and explaining technical concepts clearly.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and know when to escalate issues.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting an LMS, such as Moodle or Totara.
  • Experience using survey platforms such as Qualtrics.
  • Experience within education, public sector or government-funded programmes.
  • Knowledge of UK GDPR and consent management.
  • Experience supporting programmes moving into business-as-usual operations.
  • Monday.com certification or a relevant data or technology qualification.

Benefits

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (with the option to buy more).
  • Flexible working culture.
  • Private Medical Insurance & Healthcare Cash Plan.
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies.
  • Work from Anywhere globally (up to 8 weeks per year).
  • Paid volunteer day.
  • Cycle to Work & Electric Car Scheme.
  • 3% employer pension contribution.
