Role Description

Work location: Remote – US Based

Work You'll Do / Responsibilities

• Design and implement data platform components, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and access patterns.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using cloud-based services and modern data engineering tools.
• Apply engineering practices for data quality, testing, monitoring, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and client stakeholders to turn requirements into technical designs and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot platform and pipeline issues and recommend practical improvements.
• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting data pipelines using SQL and a programming language such as Python or Scala.
• 3+ years of experience with a cloud data platform or major cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• 3+ years of experience with data modeling, data warehousing, or distributed data processing.
• 2+ years of experience using version control and collaborative software development practices, such as Git and code reviews.
• 2+ years of experience applying data quality, testing, monitoring, or observability practices to production data solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, and/or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
