[Hiring] SDLC Platform Engineer @Zaden Tech

Role Description

Run the Atlassian and AWS platform that DoD health IT development teams build on, and get it ready for life after Atlassian Data Center. You'll support a new Defense Health Agency program. This position is contingent upon contract award, and the start date will align with the program start.

• Operate and patch the Atlassian Data Center platform (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Operate the AWS platform layer the development tools run on
• Close authorization conditions on the platform
• Plan and test the Atlassian successor path ahead of the Data Center end of life

Qualifications

• 5 or more years administering Atlassian Data Center or Server products
• Hands-on AWS operations
• Linux administration
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position
• DoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months

Requirements

• Atlassian certification (nice to have)
• Experience migrating Atlassian to Cloud or another platform (nice to have)
• An active Secret clearance or higher (nice to have)

Location

Chantilly, Virginia (Washington, D.C. area) is preferred, on site at the test center. Remote from Huntsville, Alabama, or from anywhere in the continental U.S. also works, through government-approved virtual desktop access, with trips to Chantilly when the work needs them.

Citizenship

U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation this role needs. Zaden's FSO verifies investigation status.

Pay

Pay range: $113,000 to $153,000 per year. Your location and experience set where you land in the range.
