[Hiring] Data Integration Engineer @Premier Inc.

Role Description

As a Data Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding databases, SQL, XML, Databricks, and data integration tools.
• Familiarity with data automation, mining, and integration tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of software development methodologies and project management practices.
• Willingness to learn new technical skills and adapt to changing technologies.
• Basic capabilities using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI to visually analyze data.
• Participating in Premier initiatives to advance or improve the business.

This is a remote position that requires the following critical skills for success:

• Effective communication through various channels such as email, chat, phone, or video conferencing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients to achieve common goals.
• Highly organized and able to manage workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Years of Applicable Experience: 2 or more years.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required).

Requirements

• Ability to develop basic SQL Scripts; review, execute and troubleshoot more complex SQL scripts and SSIS packages.
• Update and maintain standard library of SQL scripts.
• Document new processes/procedures.
• Investigate and troubleshoot basic data conversion problems/issues.
• Support implementation of federated and non-federated SSO.
• Assist SDM and Technical project leads on various tasks throughout the implementation project.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
• Communicate any changes in project plans and timelines.
• Assist customer support team with cases to provide solutions to data problems.
• Support basic service requests, including providing hours estimates and basic SQL script development.
• Develop XML code to parse data.
