Role Description
We are looking for a driven SaaS Data Analyst to play a key role in structuring, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive strategic decisions and scale operations. In this role, you will:
- Design and maintain scalable data models to serve as the foundation for analytics and reporting.
- Organize raw data into meaningful structures for easy cross-departmental access and use.
- Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools to visualize key metrics and business insights.
- Deliver actionable insights to support decision-making across sales, marketing, finance, and customer success.
- Act as a liaison between teams, understanding their data needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify data-driven process improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing best practices for data management.
- Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and work with engineering or IT teams to resolve issues.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Identify trends and opportunities to enhance business performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a SaaS or subscription-based business model.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Familiarity with data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the needs of various teams and translate them into data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
- Strong communication skills to engage with non-technical teams and explain data insights.
