Role Description
We’re looking for a Data Analyst that is focused on Product Development & Amazon Market Research and loves digging into market trends and turning data into actionable insights. You should be analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about uncovering opportunities that drive business growth.
- Conduct Amazon market research to identify product opportunities
- Track keyword rankings and volume using Helium 10
- Analyze category sales and trends in Google Sheets/Excel
- Extract consumer insights from reviews using AI tools
- Monitor social media for emerging trends
- Use Google Analytics to identify emerging trends in consumer behavior
- Present data-driven insights with actionable recommendations
- Stay updated on Amazon algorithm changes and industry trends
- Analyze retail data, including MULO and Nielsen reports, to uncover market trends, competitive insights, and potential growth opportunities
Working Hours: This is a part-time role with flexible hours, but we’d love for you to have a few hours of overlap with PST.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Amazon market research and product development insights
- Strong knowledge of Helium 10, keyword research, and e-commerce SEO
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and data analysis tools
- Experience working with large data sets in Google Sheets/Excel
- Familiarity with AI-driven consumer insight tools (e.g., Notion, ChatGPT, Brandwatch)
- Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Passion for product innovation
Requirements
- Knowledge of foot care and beauty industries
- Experience monitoring social media trends (TikTok, Instagram, Reddit)
- Understanding of Amazon algorithm changes and their impact
- Background in e-commerce or digital marketing
- Experience with Retail Data Analysis – proven ability to interpret and extract insights from MULO, Nielsen, and other syndicated data sources
