Role Description
You will play a critical role in analysing financial and operational data to identify trends and monitor purchasing patterns, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Analyse financial and operational data to provide actionable insights to the finance team and wider business
- Monitor purchasing patterns and assess the impact of sales campaigns
- Work closely with various departments including sales – to understand their data requirements and provide relevant reporting
- Develop and maintain cumulative reports to track business performance over time
- Utilise CRM system to extract, analyse and interpret data
- Present data in a clear and engaging manner using data visualisation tools
- Identify trends and opportunities to drive business efficiencies and profitability
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to support with data-driven decision-making
Qualifications
- Several years’ experience as a Business Data Analyst, preferably within a B2B environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Ideally CIMA qualified or working towards this
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights
- Experience working with CRM systems to extract and analyse data
- Skilled in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI or similar)
- Very strong communication skills
