Role Description

The Senior Business Analyst will lead and manage in a role responsible for supporting EA&D in Business Analysis activities. This position will divide attention approximately 60% to projects, 20% to support activities, and 20% to continuous improvement.

Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements.
Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, and implementations.
Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries, and updates.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
User experience design and build.
Continuous improvement recommendations and deployments.
Develop and execute test plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Record of designing and delivering complex enterprise-level solutions.

Requirements

5+ years of experience navigating software development environments.
Proven hands-on experience creating workflows and specifications.
5+ years leading a Business Analysis and Quality assurance or testing team.
5+ years designing, building, implementing, and executing regression testing.
Insurance or financial industry experience is a plus.
Experience with test management and test automation tools, such as Zephyr and Selenium or Cypress.
Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used for test automation, such as Java or Python.
Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong understanding of application development and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
Knowledge and understanding of software development and testing.
Strong quality assurance and testing practice knowledge.
Project management tools and processes.
