Role Description

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for documenting the functional requirements, technical specifications, and template documentation designs for customers’ business needs while providing expertise in product knowledge and feature/functionality as it relates to business requirements.

Review complex data files, mapping documents, and customer requirements
Provide guidance on best practices
Speak to the internal technical capabilities of Billtrust’s products
Understand customer requirements to provide direction and guidance on options for the best user experience

What You'll Do:

Regularly communicate progress and alert Project Managers and stakeholders if a deliverable is not achievable or is likely to slip
Work closely with stakeholders to clearly define project scope and ensure understanding of impacts
Be the main point of contact for Application Support Team regarding requirements and assist in developing test plans
Field questions/concerns from other internal Billtrust Teams related to customer’s in-scope requirements
Consistently learn and keep up to date on Billtrust products, capabilities, and new features
Support and analyze the feasibility of presales and sales opportunities
Recommend and make improvements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Desktop Procedures (DTP) documentation

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or related role
Expertise in written and oral communication for gathering and documenting requirements
Experience interacting with business partners and technical resources at all levels
Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Ability to decompose high-level information into details and apply creativity to complex problems
Develop a well-defined, shared understanding of the project scope
Bachelor’s Degree with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent education/experience

Requirements

The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000-$95,000 annually
Compensation may vary depending on qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location
Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses
