Role Description

Voyatek’s Federal practice is seeking an Analytic Consultant to support ongoing project operations for our IRS customers. In this role, you will work collaboratively with clients and colleagues to solve business problems using both quantitative (e.g., data analysis) and qualitative methods (e.g., process improvement, management consulting).

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their business needs, define research objectives, identify data sources, document business processes, and develop analysis plans.
• Apply critical thinking and creative problem solving skills to proactively identify and develop solutions for clients’ business problems.
• Develop recommendations based on research and analysis and effectively communicate them to clients.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to colleagues and clients in a variety of formats (e.g., written reports, briefing decks, oral presentations, etc.).
• Demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to stakeholders with technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Take ownership of tasks and develop high-quality, client-ready work products with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of professional experience.
• Federal Public Trust at Internal Revenue Service.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinker with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to formulate data-driven strategies and recommendations.
• Ability to gather and synthesize information to document and understand business processes.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well in a remote team environment.
• Prior federal consulting experience or tax administration knowledge.

Requirements

• The wage range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000.
• This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
• It is classified as exempt under applicable law.
