Role Description

The Customer Success Specialist will drive expansion revenue with existing customer accounts. This role will respond to client queries, review business requirements, uncover pain points, organize product demos, manage project RFP submissions, and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. You will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. This position may require occasional travel.

  • Lead: Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters (excluding general service ticket management)
  • Build: Actively build and manage customer relationships across all stakeholders to increase adoption, ensure retention, and increase satisfaction
  • Advise: Establish a trusted advisor relationship with clients and strategically position our solution, driving adoption and growth
  • Communicate: Consistently touch base with clients throughout the contract lifecycle through preparing for and leading customer meetings, executive business reviews, and product demonstrations
  • Upsell: Identify/develop upsell or cross-sell opportunities and craft proposals or statements of work while providing visibility through updating our CRM
  • Collaborate: Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, support, professional services, and others to provide support and solutions for meeting customer needs
  • Advocate: Be the single point-of-contact for customers, representing the voice of the customer to internal teams
  • Infuse enthusiasm: Ignite a sense of excitement with the client through understanding the future roadmap and alignment to customer’s future requirements
  • Facilitate: Facilitate customer requests and escalate issues as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a Customer Success or Account Management role
  • Familiarity with cloud software/SaaS products with 2+ years industry experience
  • Experience meeting revenue targets or quotas
  • Professional experience working in media rights management, IP Commerce, and/or software as a service
  • Superb structured, analytical thinking skills
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously but also enjoys collaborating with others
  • Customer-facing experience that includes issue resolution and escalation management

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the media industry and its components, including the Production process, content licensing, rights management, royalties, and available reporting
  • BA/BS or MS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Experience in Jira, Confluence, Pendo, Mail Chimp, and project management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships in previous positions
