Role Description
This role involves processing claims to ensure access to quality healthcare and services while being treated with dignity.
- Accurate and timely processing of Dental and Vision claims
- Investigate and complete claims according to procedural and financial standards
- Meet production metrics
- Review, research, and process complex claims
- Handle recalculation of claims due to incorrect payments or additional information
- Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies and issues in a timely manner
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and company policies
- Document claim actions and decisions thoroughly
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency
- Participate in training sessions and stay current with changes in procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 1-3 years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial insurance terminology
- 1-3 years utilizing basic Excel skills
- 1-3 years of experience using multiple screens and systems simultaneously
- Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written)
Requirements
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed
- Maintain internet service with rates of 50 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload
