Role Description
This position is bonus eligible. CNO Financial has a Bilingual Customer Service Representative who plays a key role in enhancing our customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for following up and collecting on pending requirements and initial premium payments, ensuring integrity and customer satisfaction in a timely, cost-effective manner compliant with state regulations and company policies. You will also re-educate consumers on the benefits of their policies.
- Communicate with customers to follow up and collect pending requirements and initial premium payments.
- Document all actions taken in our system.
- Reschedule calls to meet customer needs as required.
- Make recommendations for process improvements.
- Consult with other areas of the company to meet work demands (NB/UW, Customer Service).
Qualifications
- Professional interaction with customers.
- Knowledge of insurance administration procedures and insurance products.
- Strong critical thinking abilities.
- Basic ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Courteous phone etiquette.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- 3 years of customer service-oriented work.
- Insurance, financial services, and/or call center experience preferred.
