Role Description

Join a dynamic IT team as a Tier 1 Help Desk specialist, supporting a major migration project for a leading organization in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Flexible remote work is available, with initial laptop provisioning in the Fort Worth office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt Tier 1 IT support for end users, focusing on Windows 10 Enterprise and Office 365 troubleshooting
• Resolve issues related to network drive mapping, printer connectivity, and software installation on re-imaged laptops
• Utilize scripts, how-to guides, and issue-resolution documentation to efficiently solve technical problems
• Escalate complex incidents to Tier 2 support when necessary to ensure timely resolution
• Accurately log and track all support requests using the organization’s ticketing system
• Contribute to the successful rollout of IT migration initiatives

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of proven desktop support or customer service experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365 environments
• Hands-on experience with mapping and remapping network drives
• Proficiency in software installation and PC setup
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check
• Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow platform experience
• BitLocker encryption knowledge
• Understanding of Multi-factor Authentication processes
• Experience with mobile device management
