[Hiring] Scheduler @Aspire Indiana Health

Role Description

The Scheduler will facilitate the flow of information between patients, referral sources, providers/prescribers and Aspire services for the purpose of scheduling patient appointments. The scheduler will handle a large volume of calls and be the first point of contact for individuals seeking service with Aspire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Minimum one (1) year experience in healthcare required, medical office experience highly preferred
• Previous insurance billing experience highly preferred
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred
• Must have intermediate computer skills
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred

Requirements

• Drug screen, TB test and extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References) are required of all Aspire employees.
• All individuals who join Aspire are strongly encouraged to have a flu shot and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to joining Aspire to further protect our staff and the patients we serve.
