[Hiring] Patient Support Representative @Aveanna Healthcare

Role Description

As an Inbound Call Center Representative, you’ll play a vital role for our Patient Support Department, which is our first point of contact for our patients to call in and seek information and ask questions regarding their services and orders with us here at Aveanna.

• Manage 40-50 inbound calls per day with compassion and empathy.
• Receive tailored training to navigate the ever-changing healthcare landscape.
• Represent Aveanna and our values as the first point of contact for patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a call center environment.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the medical industry/familiarity with medical terminology (preferably with DME and Home Healthcare).
• Experience or familiarity with respiratory equipment and respiratory-related patient support preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED.

Requirements

• Professional phone etiquette to de-escalate worried or upset patients.
• Organized and self-sufficient to accurately complete data entry tasks daily and in a timely manner.
• Comfortable working towards daily and monthly metric and KPI goals.
• Confidence in your ability to learn new computer programs and software.
• Ability to maintain a quiet, dedicated workspace that is free of background noise and ongoing distractions.
• Ability to participate in virtual meetings with a professional, camera-ready presence.
• Strong time-management skills, accountability, and self-direction.
• Must be able to operate off reliable, high-speed internet.
