[Hiring] Customer Value Manager @CoLab Software

Role Description

The cars, medical devices, and jet engines our customers build reach the market years sooner only when the teams behind them change how they design, review, and release products. As a Customer Value Manager you’ll lead that change.

• Accountable for adoption and value realization for global customers.
• Understand customer workflows and build transformation plans.
• Lead execution, consulting on workflows and training teams.
• Success measured by adoption and measurable business outcomes.
• Work alongside Sales and CoLab’s technical experts.
• On-site visits expected at least 25% of the time.

What you’ll own

• Customer strategy and value plan:
  • Join deals before they close and present tailored onboarding plans.
  • Build and run the Customer Value Plan based on customer’s business.
• Engineering workflow and adoption:
  • Be a true expert in CoLab’s product and its use cases.
  • Consult on engineering teams' collaboration and workflows.
  • Drive adoption and change through strong relationships.
• Value and executive engagement:
  • Analyze usage data and quantify business impact.
  • Own strategy for Quarterly Partnership Reviews.
• Account leadership and risk:
  • Lead the account team and drive outcomes through collaboration.
  • Identify and communicate risks early and execute action plans.
• Commercial outcomes:
  • Own gross revenue retention and renewals.
  • Partner with AE on growth and renewal planning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Customer Success, Strategic Consulting, or Enterprise Account Management.
• Proven success driving enterprise transformation across global Fortune 1000 accounts.
• Experience with customer journey orchestration in a high-ACV SaaS environment.
• Track record of partnering with Sales on multi-threaded expansion strategies.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Requirements

• Engineering background or strong technical project experience (required).
• Critical thinking skills to break down complex customer situations.
• Experience managing complex enterprise relationships in a technical role.
• Experience driving adoption and change in enterprise engineering organizations.
• Strong business acumen and analytical rigor.
• Strong cross-functional partner with proven ability to mobilize resources.

Nice to haves

• Hands-on experience with PLM and CAD tools.
• Formal change management training or certification.
• Familiarity with land-and-expand SaaS motions.
• Background in vertical SaaS.
