Role Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Customer Success Support Engineer to support a leading organization in the networking and technology space. This is a fully remote opportunity offering an initial 3-month contract with quarterly extensions and strong long-term potential.

The Customer Success Support Engineer will work directly with customers and internal teams to support onboarding, implementation, platform adoption, and technical troubleshooting efforts, serving as a trusted technical resource throughout the customer lifecycle.

• Partner with customer IT and infrastructure teams to support onboarding, implementation, and activation of technology solutions.
• Assist with the deployment, configuration, and support of virtual machine-based collectors, integrations, and monitoring tools within customer environments.
• Provide technical guidance related to networking, connectivity, system access, DNS, IP addressing, firewall policies, and authentication requirements.
• Support cloud-based implementations, API integrations, system migrations, and platform adoption initiatives.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application issues while coordinating resolutions with engineering and support teams.
• Deliver technical training, end-user guidance, and best practices to ensure successful platform adoption and utilization.
• Document customer environments, technical configurations, troubleshooting efforts, and implementation milestones.
• Build strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to drive customer satisfaction and long-term success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer success, technical support, IT support, network support, implementation, onboarding, or a related client-facing technical role.
• Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, SSH, SNMP, and virtualized environments.
• Experience with Windows environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Windows Server, or other enterprise IT infrastructure technologies is preferred.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including vulnerability management, software patching, system hardening, CVEs, and endpoint security.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues across infrastructure, networking, and software environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Compensation: $28-$35/hr
