Role Description

The Virtual Banker will provide a unique customer experience to all clients via video interaction. In this position, you will provide exceptional customer service, accurately perform a wide range of customer banking transactions, and educate customers on new technology through strong interpersonal communication skills. This position will follow established departmental policies and procedures and manage risk to protect our clients and the Bank.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service required, bank teller experience preferred.
• Must be able to efficiently work simultaneously between two operating systems.
• Strong core technology skills, coupled with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use new technology.
• Fluent in English (speak, read, write, comprehend, communicate) required.
• Fluent in Spanish (speak, read, write, comprehend, communicate) required.

Requirements

• Greet all clients in a timely, professional manner.
• Effectively use bank resources, procedure manuals, and reference materials to independently service client inquiries.
• Process all Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) transactions through video interaction efficiently and accurately while providing quality customer service and building customer loyalty.
• Promote usage and explain new ITM technology and ATM functionality to ITM clients and Republic Bank Associates.
• Responsible for providing a variety of customer service functions via ITM, including conducting complex and high-risk transactions in a non-face-to-face environment.
• Responsible for balancing each day’s transactions and verifying cash totals while meeting Republic’s standard of performance.
• Stay up to date on bank products and services to resolve client inquiries and offer solutions that will complement the client relationship.
• Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of client account information.
• Maintain a high-level working knowledge of TellerNow and Network Manager systems.
• Responsible for following Republic Bank Security procedures.
• Ensure adherence to scheduled shift start times and break times to optimize availability.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities.
• Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank’s values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
• Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
