Role Description

We are looking for experienced Bilingual Collections Specialists in Colombia and Mexico to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a collections professional who is confident handling difficult conversations, negotiating payment arrangements, and working toward measurable performance goals while maintaining a professional and compliant customer experience.

We are particularly interested in candidates with BPO or contact center collections experience, especially those with third-party collections experience and a strong understanding of FDCPA and collections compliance requirements. If you are motivated by performance, comfortable speaking with customers about delinquent accounts, and confident communicating in both English and Spanish, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Handle inbound and outbound collections calls professionally and efficiently
• Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts and work toward appropriate resolutions
• Negotiate payment arrangements in accordance with established guidelines
• Handle objections, resistance, and difficult customer conversations professionally
• Maintain consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers
• Accurately document account interactions, payment arrangements, and updates
• Follow all applicable collections policies and compliance requirements
• Maintain customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account information
• Work toward individual and team collections performance targets
• Deliver a professional customer experience while working toward account resolution

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of BPO, contact center, or professional collections experience
• Experience handling inbound and outbound collections calls
• Experience handling delinquent or past-due accounts
• Experience negotiating payment arrangements or resolving outstanding balances
• Knowledge of FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance requirements
• Fluent English communication skills
• Fluent Spanish communication skills
• Experience working toward individual or team collections KPIs
• Third-party collections experience is preferred
• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is preferred
• Must be permanently located in Mexico or Colombia
• Must have the equipment and internet connection required for reliable remote work
