[Hiring] GRC Security Consultant @Ampcus Inc.

Role Description

Ampcus Inc. is in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team as a PS_GRC Security Consultant in Ashburn, VA.

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience related to GRC engagements.
• Multiple maintained industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, CGEIT, CCSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
• Relevant work experience related to Cyber Security assessment.
• Experience supporting the development of policies, processes, and documentation in Green or Brown field sites.
• Demonstrated professional consulting experience (internal or external) with enterprise IT-security, information security, and Governance Risk Compliance services.
• Experience in delivering assignments using well-known security frameworks, standards, and methodologies such as PCI-DSS, ISO27001, NIST-CSF, CIS, and/or CoBIT.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to work independently without supervision or direction and lead senior and junior consultants.
• Fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in IT (nice to have).
• Experience in more than two industry verticals and a network of contacts (nice to have).
• Consulting experience with enterprise IT-security, information security, and Governance Risk Compliance services (nice to have).
• Excellent report writing skills and ability to clearly articulate technical risk, coupled with acute attention to detail (nice to have).
• Ability to work on complex projects/multiple projects at the same time and deliver security projects on time and within budget (nice to have).
• Strong work ethic, articulate with good communication skills (nice to have).
• Effective presentation skills, public speaking experience, and experience of writing white papers (nice to have).
