Role Description

Geotab is seeking a Compliance Lead who will be responsible for operationalizing our compliance programs and championing a culture of integrity at Geotab. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!

• Drive adherence to policies, procedures, and evolving global regulatory requirements by designing and executing compliance initiatives.
• Work closely with Legal, Finance, Technology, HR, IT, Operations, and Senior Management.

How you'll make an impact:

• Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive, risk-based ethics and compliance strategy.
• Lead and manage thorough, impartial investigations into allegations of non-compliance, unethical conduct, or violations of policies.
• Draft, review, and continuously improve key ethics and compliance policies and procedures.
• Design and own compliance risk assessment programs.
• Serve as a proactive thought partner and subject matter expert for compliance team and business partners.
• Drive cross-functional compliance integration by initiating partnerships with various departments.
• Stay abreast of evolving laws, regulations, industry standards, and best practices relevant to ethics and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience in developing and managing ethics and compliance programs.
• Technology Adoption & Automation: Rapidly learns, adopts, and deploys new technologies, SaaS platforms, and AI tools.
• Agility & Multi-Tasking: Ability to juggle competing priorities and manage multiple complex projects.
• Risk & Control Orientation: Strong ability to identify, evaluate and mitigate compliance risks.
• Integrity & Ethical Conduct: Upholds the highest ethical standards.
• Strategic Thinking & Decision-Making: Balances regulatory requirements with business objectives.
• Communication & Influence: Effectively communicates compliance expectations and influences stakeholders.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Leads cross-functional initiatives and builds strong relationships.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Capability: Uses data to identify issues and develop solutions.
• Continuous Improvement & Learning: Stays updated on evolving regulatory landscapes and industry best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with a focus on ethics and compliance programs.
• Professional Certification in CCEP is preferred.
