[Hiring] Compliance Intern @Ascensus

Role Description

The Compliance team internship role will encompass learning and practical application of core compliance principles and requirements to real work allowing for hands-on experience in testing tasks, including allocated links, financial data reconciliation, and more. The intern will have a background in actuarial science or mathematics and a keen interest in compliance and regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science (BSC) or a master’s degree in mathematics (MSC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.

Requirements

• Assist in the preparation and loading of census data into compliance systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support the creation and management of allocated links for compliance testing purposes.
• Perform basic financial data reconciliation tasks to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance testing processes and results.
• Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the compliance team to identify and resolve any issues related to compliance testing tasks.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance understanding of compliance processes and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus.
