[Hiring] Compliance & Governance Analyst @flydocs

Role Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance & Governance Analyst to join the flydocs team in India. This role will provide dedicated local compliance expertise, helping flydocs India understand and meet its obligations, respond effectively to regulatory change, and maintain appropriate governance, policies, controls, and procedures.

You will act as a key point of knowledge for Indian regulatory and governance requirements, working closely with stakeholders across the business to:

• Identify applicable obligations and understand their impact.
• Support their effective implementation.

The role will also support flydocs' wider compliance, assurance, and enterprise risk management frameworks.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in a compliance, governance, legal, company secretarial, regulatory, or similar role within India.
• Strong working knowledge of the Indian legislative, regulatory, and corporate governance environment.
• The ability to research, interpret, and clearly communicate legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Experience monitoring regulatory developments and translating changes into practical business actions.
• Knowledge of Indian data protection and privacy requirements, particularly the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
• Experience maintaining compliance registers, regulatory calendars, governance records, policies, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex matters clearly and practically.
• Confidence building relationships and working with stakeholders at different levels of an organisation.
• The ability to provide constructive challenge and appropriately escalate compliance concerns.
• Experience creating, adapting, or implementing policies, procedures, and controls.
• The ability to understand and interpret relevant contractual terms and conditions.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to change.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience of internal audit, ISO management systems, enterprise risk management, or supplier due diligence would be advantageous but is not essential.
