[Hiring] BSA Advisor @Pinnacle

Role Description

The BSA Advisor is responsible for providing expert guidance and oversight on the organization's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance program. This role ensures that the firm adheres to all applicable laws and regulations, identifies and mitigates risks, and supports the development and implementation of effective compliance strategies.

• Reviews and analyzes transaction activity to detect potential suspicious activity and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations.
• Develops and maintains policies and procedures.
• Conducts risk assessments and provides recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborates with internal teams to deliver training.
• Supports audits and regulatory examinations.
• Prepares detailed reports for senior management.
• Monitors regulatory changes and investigates compliance issues.
• Participates in special projects to enhance the BSA/AML program.
• Manages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports as applicable.
• Coaches and develops team members, fostering an engaged work environment.
• Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, compensation, training, and filling vacant positions.
• Ensures all team members are aware of risk within their functional area and report known or suspected violations.
• Meets all client's financial needs and refers clients to other specialty areas as appropriate.
• Assists other team members as needed to ensure delivery of distinctive service.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related field.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in BSA/AML compliance, audit, or risk management within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, compliance best practices, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS or similar are preferred.
