[Hiring] Vice President, Business Development, Ecosystem @Robert Half

Role Description

As a Vice President of Business Development within our Technology Solutions team, you will drive profitable revenue growth across the Robert Half enterprise, including Talent Solutions and Protiviti. This role focuses on expanding strategic Salesforce and ServiceNow ecosystem relationships, generating market demand, and advancing consulting and talent opportunities through our One-of-One market position.

This strategic and collaborative role combines solution-based selling, alliance development, and field enablement to lead complex business development initiatives, connect cross-functional teams, and drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Client & Partner Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive executive outreach, partner account teams, and lead generation with Robert Half Talent Solutions teams.
  • Build relationships with C-suite technology leaders and Salesforce/ServiceNow account executives and partner managers.
  • Lead partner-sourced and partner-influenced pursuits to grow pipeline and revenue.
  • Develop joint go-to-market campaigns, events, and business development playbooks that equip field teams to identify and advance enterprise platform and workflow transformation opportunities.
• Strategic Execution
  • Shape and lead strategic deal campaigns, from opportunity identification through close, including expansion within existing Robert Half and Protiviti accounts.
  • Develop joint business plans with Salesforce and ServiceNow stakeholders, aligning on target accounts, enablement, and shared success metrics.
  • Connect Protiviti, Managed Technology Solutions, and Robert Half Talent Solutions teams to coordinate client pursuits and expand consulting opportunities.
• Revenue Growth & Operational Excellence
  • Achieve or exceed annual revenue targets through direct and partner-led pursuits, increasing consultants on billing and generating broader consulting opportunities.
  • Champion operational excellence, collaboration, and accountability across internal teams and alliance stakeholders.
  • Track pipeline, partner engagement, and revenue metrics to assess the impact of alliance and client development efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, preferably in a solutions-focused business development role with an emphasis on revenue generation.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce and ServiceNow ecosystems, enterprise platform and workflow transformation, and partner-led business development models.
• Proven ability to grow year-over-year revenue through net-new opportunities and account expansion.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder consulting or technology business development pursuits.
• Experience developing joint go-to-market plans and enabling cross-functional business development teams.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders both internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in IT professional services, alliance/channel business development, or enterprise platform and workflow transformation.
• Ability to manage or mentor team members (if applicable).
• Strong critical thinking, research, and analytical capabilities.

Travel

May be required based on business needs and partner/client engagement (aligned with company and government guidelines).

Location

This position is open to candidates across all U.S. locations.

Salary

The typical salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. The salary is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a bonus based upon achievement of performance objectives.
