The Sr. Manager, Step Further Market Development supports the Senior Director in driving the growth, adoption, and long-term success of the Education Freedom Tax Credit program through strategic sales, business development, partnership cultivation, and market expansion efforts. This role is responsible for:

• Identifying and securing new partnership opportunities
• Managing a robust sales pipeline
• Delivering presentations and pitches
• Managing portfolios
• Fostering strong relationships with schools, education providers, networks, and other key stakeholders
• Overseeing partner onboarding and engagement
• Supporting fundraising and outreach initiatives
• Working inside our CRM
• Serving as a trusted ambassador for the program

Through strong relationship management and strategic growth efforts, this position plays a critical role in expanding participation, strengthening partnerships, and advancing educational opportunities for students and families.

Location: Remote (United States)

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success and a proven track record in professional/life experience in specific job functions, projects, or industries. Military service can substitute for professional experience and/or formal education requirements.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, market development, nonprofit management, education programs, public policy, stakeholder engagement, or related fields, with a demonstrated track record of building strategic relationships, driving growth, and achieving organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Policy, Education, Nonprofit Administration, Communications, or related field.
• Experience with education choice programs, scholarship administration, tax credit initiatives, or education advocacy.
• Experience managing external partnerships and community engagement programs.
• Experience managing projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Working Conditions and Equipment Use

• Work is performed indoors in a typical office environment - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance may be required, depending on role responsibilities.
