[Hiring] Prospect Management Strategist @The Nature Conservancy

Role Description

The Prospect Management Strategist works to implement strategies to support prospect identification, segmentation, and assignment recommendations and other related services for the Conservancy’s fundraising teams.

This role operates at the intersection of the art and science of fundraising within the Prospect Management team and reports to the Director of Prospect Management within the Global Development Division. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting and promoting the strategic priorities of the Prospect Management team.
• Developing and implementing processes and communication strategies to improve the quality and consistency of the organization's management of high potential donors and prospects.
• Collaborating with Business Unit fundraising staff, conducting portfolio reviews and consultations with fundraisers.
• Providing relevant information to support fundraising decision-making and problem-solving.
• Working closely with Prospect Management analytics staff to capture, analyze, and provide guidance on major gift prospect activity.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to align approaches and optimize outcomes.
• Taking on additional duties to enhance the work of the team, including managing recurring processes regarding team outreach with Business Units.
• Analyzing situations, evaluating alternatives, and implementing solutions to improve effectiveness.
• Occasional travel and flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience managing and implementing multiple projects.
• Experience supervising staff, interns, and/or volunteers.
• Experience with current and evolving technology in relevant field.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience creating reports, manipulating, and analyzing data, and communicating results to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• The starting pay range for this position is generally within the range of $78,800 - $114,800.
• This range applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA.
• Actual pay will be based on various factors including location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
