Role Description

We are looking for a Growth & Operations Lead who combines commercial thinking, strong communication, operational ownership, and an understanding of how digital products grow. This is not a traditional administrative operations role. The right person should be comfortable moving between:

• Growth
• Marketing
• Discovery calls
• Client conversion
• Customer success
• Product feedback
• Process building

What You Will Own:

• SaaS Growth & Client Acquisition:
  • Develop and execute practical strategies to generate qualified opportunities among physicians, practice owners, administrators, and other healthcare decision-makers.
  • Identify and test acquisition channels including outbound outreach, referrals, partnerships, organic marketing, and other initiatives that can help Newton build a repeatable client-acquisition engine.
• Discovery Calls & Client Conversion:
  • Conduct or facilitate discovery and product conversations, understand each medical practice's needs, and clearly communicate Newton's features, benefits, use cases, and business value.
  • Address questions and objections, follow up with qualified prospects, and move opportunities toward conversion while continuously improving the discovery and sales process.
• Product Marketing & Market Development:
  • Work with the marketing team to strengthen Newton's positioning, physician-facing messaging, product use cases, success stories, educational content, and sales materials.
  • Research competitors, customer pain points, healthcare technology trends, SEO opportunities, and potential marketing channels that can increase awareness and qualified lead generation.
• Customer Success & Product Operations:
  • Support customer onboarding and coordinate client questions, product concerns, and operational needs with customer service, technical support, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor customer feedback and recurring issues, manage escalations appropriately, and communicate insights that can improve customer satisfaction, retention, and the overall product experience.
• Founder & Leadership Partnership:
  • Provide clear updates on growth initiatives, pipeline activity, customer conversations, priorities, risks, results, and unresolved issues.
  • Bring thoughtful recommendations and solutions, challenge assumptions professionally when appropriate, and help leadership translate ideas into practical execution plans.
• Process Building & Operational Excellence:
  • Build and improve repeatable processes across lead generation, discovery, follow-up, onboarding, customer support, reporting, and internal coordination.
  • Identify operational gaps and introduce practical workflows, documentation, SOPs, tools, and KPI tracking that can help Newton operate more effectively as the business grows.
• AI & Technology Integration:
  • Use AI tools practically for research, competitive analysis, documentation, communication, marketing support, analysis, and workflow improvement.
  • Independently evaluate new technologies and develop a strong understanding of Newton's platform and the broader healthcare technology landscape to support growth and customer conversations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in SaaS, business development, growth, startup operations, customer success, product operations, digital marketing, account management, or a related field.
• Experience working in or supporting a digital product, technology company, SaaS business, startup, or other rapidly evolving organization.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute ideas and strategies for attracting, engaging, and converting customers.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship-management skills.
• Confidence conducting discovery calls, product conversations, sales conversations, presentations, or business meetings.
• Experience communicating directly with founders, executives, business owners, clients, or senior decision-makers.
• Ability to understand product features and translate them into meaningful customer benefits and business outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously without requiring constant supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership when processes or instructions are not yet fully defined.
• Strong research skills and comfort independently learning unfamiliar industries, technologies, systems, and business problems.
• Practical experience using AI tools for business, research, productivity, communication, or process improvement.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to remain composed and professional when handling difficult conversations, customer concerns, or changing priorities.

Requirements

• Highly Preferred:
• Experience in healthcare SaaS, healthtech, medical technology, or another SaaS environment.
• Experience helping an early-stage company acquire or convert its first customers.
• Growth marketing, demand generation, business development, or lead-generation experience.
• Experience conducting SaaS discovery, product demonstration, sales, partnership, or conversion calls.
• Experience with outbound prospecting and lead nurturing.
• Healthcare, physician-facing, medical-practice, or healthcare decision-maker exposure.
• U.S. SEO experience.
• Product marketing experience.
• Customer Success Management experience.
• Experience working directly with a startup founder or small-business owner.
• Experience building or improving customer onboarding, sales, support, or account-management processes.
• Experience working alongside customer service and technical support teams.
• Experience introducing AI, automation, or new technologies into existing business workflows.
