[Hiring] Director, Regional Partner Development @Microsoft

Role Description

The Director, Regional Partner Development, is a leadership role leading a team of Partner development managers across the Americas region. In this role you will lead a high-performing team shaping and delivering partner strategy with a portfolio of Microsoft strategic partners, with a focus on their Nonprofit and Education business. As a transformative leader, you will establish strong relationships in the C-Suite and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to tackle complex opportunities to enable our Partners.

• Strategic Vision and Value Partnering / Strategic Alignment: Lead your team in creating and executing business plans that ensure alignment between the overall value of Microsoft and the Partner’s business goals.
• Partner Sales Leadership: Act as sales manager and coach the team through pipeline and opportunity management, ensuring sales execution with partners in collaboration with internal teams at Microsoft.
• Market Insight and Business Opportunity: Identify top opportunities to pursue with partners, ensuring your teams position Microsoft as the industry leader.
• Executive Relationship Building: Develop deep relationships with partners and maintain an understanding of partner and Microsoft priorities and goals.
• Career Development: Focus on the development of your team, leveraging resources to help employees grow skillsets and support their career interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND 8+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years people management experience.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an Advanced Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field (preferred).
• 10+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience OR equivalent experience (preferred).
• 5+ years of people management experience (preferred).

Requirements

• Partner Development Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year.
• Base pay range for this role in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
