[Hiring] Business Development Representative @Aquila Software Group

Role Description

At SymPro, an Aquila company and part of Constellation Software, we provide treasury management software that supports investment, debt, and cash management operations for public sector organizations across North America. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, we are hiring a Business Development Representative to help expand our presence in the public sector market across North America.

• Create targeted sales opportunities. You will research public sector organizations and identify finance, treasury, investment, accounting, and operational contacts who may benefit from SymPro’s solutions.
• Open conversations that lead to meetings. You will reach out to prospective customers and existing contacts through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Support a healthy early-stage funnel. You will help increase activity, demos, and early-stage pipeline by qualifying inbound interest and following up on marketing and event leads.
• Strengthen outreach through market insight. You will learn SymPro’s product suite and the broader public sector treasury management landscape.
• Use tools and technology to work smarter. You will maintain accurate records of activity, contacts, follow-up, and meeting outcomes in the CRM.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 plus bonus and commission. Compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and the scope and complexity of the role.

Interview Process

• A final virtual interview with the General Manager and the Portfolio Manager focused on your approach to outreach and customer communication.
